System comes with 8 cameras, but DVR itself is a 16 channel unit. This means, that anytime you can add up to 8 more cameras to this system. Every camera sold on our website is compatible and can be added to this complete system. Just do not forget to get cable and power supply also.

Every Eyemax PC based DVR unit includes all the features you can find in most sophisticated enterprise grade surveillance systems. In fact many airports, large corporations, warehouses, supermarkets, shopping malls even casinos use Eyemax systems for their video surveillance needs. Most important features include:
- MOTION ACTIVATED. Video sent to the DVR from each camera will be stored only when DVR detects motion, no more fast forwarding through hours of empty video. Of course if you need some or all of the cameras to record 24/7, you can do it. Each camera has it’s own settings. It can be set to record on motion, on weekly and daily schedule or just 24/7. Also you decide haw many frames per second you want each camera to record. Most popular is 3 FPS, but you can increase it. Just remember, total FPS for all cameras can not be higher than total FPS for certain DVR unit.
- EASY SEARCH AND BACKUP. When you need to playback stored video, you just click on search. You will see calendar with daily diagram for each camera. You can simply tell when each camera recorded something. By clicking on it, you will instantly see the video. You can play it with desired speed, zoom it in, adjust brightness and contrast, you can saved it as AVI file and than play it using Media Player, you can print it out or you can just save images. System is equipped with digital watermark. This feature lets you use video as evidence for law enforcement.
- OVERWRITE FEATURE. Eyemax DVR comes with built in hard drive. System will use it to store video. Day by day until all available space is used. Than it starts overwriting process. It simply deletes oldest data hour by hour and replaces it with newest data. This way you will always have last few weeks. Whenever you want to save something from being deleted, you just use backup feature.
- REMOTE ACCESS. If your DVR unit is plugged in to your local network or internet, you can simply log in to the DVR from any other computer to see live video, adjust settings or just playback stored video. If your DVR is at your business location, you can see live picture sitting at home or anywhere else in the world as long as you have internet access. If you have few businesses each with its own DVR, you can log in to all of them at the same time and see live video from few different locations (up to 64 cameras from up to 64 different locations can be seen on one screen on one computer). Also each and every remote user (there may be few users at the same time) may have different privileges. Let’s say you don’t want your employees to see all cameras, just specific ones, or you don’t want them to be able to playback video. Each user can have different privileges.
- POS DATA CAPTURE. If you have camera at your business looking at cash register, by connecting your register to DVR you will not only see what is going on around the register, but you will also see exact transaction going through the register. It will be intercepted and displayed on the top of the picture from this camera. You will see exactly what customer is being charged for.
